Wiring Lightforce XTG's

Post by LuxyBoy »

Hi Guys i have wired the entire setup excluding connecting the + - to the spotties.

On the back of the lights there appears to be two male plugs but the wiring loom kit has a male and a female plug. The female from the loom won't even fit onto a male plug on the spotties.

Where am i going wrong :?:

Leaving for Fraser tomorrow please help
Kind Regards,
Brad

Nah there have stuffed up the plugs on the lights....If lights have to males on lights and wiring loom has one of each" Plug the ones in that will plug in and just cut the other one on the lights and fit your own plug and you will be all set to turn them on

There's a plug that comes with the XGT's with bare wires coming out of it. You have to fit male/female plugs to the bare wires or just cut the plugs off the loom and hardwire into the XGT plug.

If you're stuck get some bullet sockets (like joiner thingys) and jam two of them into the socket on the light (one on each pole) - i've been running this setup for a while, seems to work fine and more reliable than the original plugs.
