Disco fever

Post by SASS »

OK
I'm currently looking for a new truck for work and outback touring (both involve towing). I was looking towards 100 series landcruisers and gu patrols but everything in my price range ($25000) has over 200000kms on the clock. I am not to keen on the hilux"s ect as they are very cramped on a long drive (this is what i currently own). So i branched out my search and am now seriously considering a Td5 auto disco as they can be had easily for this $$$ in top condition with LOW Km's. The only problem is i need a dual cab ute back for work (carpenter). I have researched the body chop on the landcruiser and patrol and am fully prepared to pay the $$$ but no one seems to do them for the disco's. Has anyone seen one or have a pic? Anyone know who can do them?
Any help would be great.
Cheers

Cant say i have ever seen a dual cab disco.
Maybe someone on here who is handy with photoshop could do a pic up for you.

Have you considered a Defender?
130 is a factory Dual Cab or even chopping a 110 into a dual cab

Short of extending the chassis, I'm not sure If I'd do a duel cab. I doubt that the chassis at the rear would be strong enough, espeically over the spring perches.
