I can see a halon fire extinguisher, a weird heater core, a funny floor pan, an esky between the seats (some FJ/HJ 45/47 had bucket seats) so not necessarily unoriginal. But probably.

The weird panel that makes the bonnet go up on an angle freaks me out.

Its a 60 series column for sure. I doubt it would have 60 diffs and a spring under, no real reason for it.

I know the guy who owns it, it has a 60series chassis with 40 series body work. He starts the car on normal diesel then when it has warmed up, runs waste vegetable oil in the old 2h motor from a second fuel tank. He is retired and all he does is travel around the country and spend time at his farm in the southern highlands. Yes it is Nerriga pub.

At first I thought it was a sea anemone, upon closer inspection I realised it was a funky ball of tits from outer space.

I can tell its higher but looking at the interior shot i dont think its wider. The dash and winscreen look standard width.

it's not a 25 series. they didn't have a bezel around the headlights, and they had horizontal chrome slats running between the headlights over the grille.

I would like to say what a good combination that is.
anyone who runs a 40 body on a 60 chassis cant be bad at all

i obviously didnt go far enough with the body mods on mine though, people still see its a 40 series.

Ask him to explain the freaky bonnet angle. BJ is still having kittens about it I'm sure. :D
