would like to know if Gq springs will fit and work properly in an 80s any info would be helpful thanks
93 GQ patrol td42 turbo'd ,auto, 4 in springs, 2 in body 35 claws, front locker & 4.6's, wheelers fabrications bar work all round.........

80 into gq yes not the other way round, unless you want to lower it
standard 80 springs give gq's a 2 inch lift. Or so i have been told

I have a pr of 3" ?? 80 fronts if u want 'em.
6" GQ, 37" Treps, that is all.....

This is right i used 80series 7in coils to get 9in gq

I think you'll find the 80 springs will be stiffer, may not be what you want.
Check the spring rates carefully.

standard 100 series coils are softer than GQ and give 3 or 4 inches lift for most people
turbos are nice but i'd rather be blown
