Disco Fuel Prob?

Hi i have noticed over the last couple of weeks that my 300 TDI Disco has been losing power.I had a friend following me today and he said was blowing smoke of a blue/black color.I have also noticed that the tail pipe is a bit sooty.Am i looking at injectors being serviced or possibly something more any help appreciated guys

The airfilter is ok i checked that first
but im gonna change the fuel and air filters for new ones see if that improves the power and smoke at all they werent done that long ago but worth a shot

check the cam and pump timeing and vlave clearances biggest cause of 300 tdi to lose power.

are these motors all very sluggish off boost and then a real gem over 2000rpm?
