identify this xfer

Post by j-top paj »

my mate has 2 xfers for his 2.6 paj.
the one he got with the car was stuck in 2H but when we took it out of the car we managed to free the selector.
the new one we got from the wreckers looks different.

anyone know the difference? are autos different to manual?
we are going to get a set of 2.85 gears for one of the cases but need to know if there are any differences before ordering them.

Found the upper picture one in my NB (hiroof) and the lower example in my Dad's NC, both manuals. Only ever noticed the difference when rebuilding the main boxes. Never noticed any other differences in the t/cs.
