You will have to excuse my ignorance :oops: What and where are the bumpstops??? Yes new shocks are on the way and i really do wanna give it a 50mm lift but what are the bumpstops????

Bump Stops are what restricts the upward movement of your axels.

Check under your car. In the front, the bump stop is attached to the chassis directly above the axel. At the back, the bump stop is attached to the axel (i think). You will probably be able to see some scuff marks on the opposing surface that touches the bump stop under full compression.

They look like a wedge of black rubber.

Extending them would mean putting some sort of spacer between the bump stop and whatever it is attached to.

I say you need longer (but should have added softer) bumpstops to slow the rate of cempression in the last few inches of upward travel so that it is less "harsh" on landings taking stress off the diff housing..
(Like landing on a bigger "pillow" )

My body lift cost me $85 with solid ally blocks and high tensile bolts. I used the die nut technique, and no mods were needed for brakelines, gearlevers, or anything else. just plug and play :cool:

Definately go the 2" lift
