hold on - common rail?! are you reffering to inline pump on the sd? you can get an inline pump for the td42 - came on some overseas and stationary-forktruck versions but why wont the rotary pump work with the chip oil?
And there isn't any bellhousing that ive heard of, i'd just run the tb on gas, probably cheaper by the time you try and fit the sd - also not that you're too worried if you wanna run veg oil but i doubt the sd would be able to be complied in a gq as its older.
Also you'd get pulled over for driving below the speed limit too much! unless you ran a turbo (lwb gq 6" and 35's with a N/A sd33 may be lethargic at best!)
There are no stupid questions, but there are a LOT of inquisitive idiots

my bog stock MQ sd33td runs around 150 if youd like, but id imagine it wouldent last around that speed all the time.

and i gotta admit, this thread brought a tear to my eye. :) I havent run chip-oil in a car since i used to work over in holland. (crappy 98 model seat ibiza deisel) and jees it sticks like a chip shop.

ive been looking too though, but cant seem to find any chip oil that runs cheaper than 150-160 c / liter... so not realy worth while yet....

a few years ago before it looked like becoming the next best thing, it was going to cost about 25cpl for me to make and that was collecting waste oil for free (not stealing it btw). Then someone in gov decided that they might miss out on some excise if people caught on, and slapped tax on ethanol used for automotive purposes. Suddenly cost 90+cpl (more than cost of diesel at the time) so we dropped the idea. Can use methanol, but the process is much more involved, (and more expensive)
