gu/gq the same when your discussing engine mounts in terms for mounting.

most of the comp guys i know who have fitted either gen 3 or gen 4 have used climax industries engine mounts which are about $400 supply plust postage from memory.

mate I used standard commo rubbers and made up new plates for both engine and chassis. best way for smooth idle as the mounts are massive.

would look at using trailing arm rubbers from a gq / u if i did it again. I like the captive mounts for racing

I've used stock GU in daily drivers as it suits the engineers to use a factory mount but for my own comp truck, Gen 3 GQ, made captive mounts with trailing arm bushes, crazy but the engineers find it easier to engineer a standard mount as they know it is capable of doing the job even though the trailing arm bush cannot go anywhere.
