sticky stuff

my stickers have come off the side of my 4runner with the help of a gernie after they got sctratched and torn.

Now there is an adhesive I can't get off. Can not get it to budge!

Any one got any ideas on how to get it off? :?:

Eucalyptus Oil or Methanol.

i have tried a bit of acetone. it takes it off but i would be there for about a week doing it.

I dont know of a quick fix, other than application and rubbing like a biatch.

Perhaps put the stuff onto a drill buff and try that?

Try 'Shellite', heaps on a rag, hold it on to the sticky shiat for a bit to soak and then scrub like a bastard. That's the best stuff I've found for that sort of thing.

or ya local auto shop, my mate got something for that very purpose, werked like a dream, think it was same stuff for preparing car b4 painting, like prepsol or something, but sticky gunk was heated up with a hot air gun first, and scraped off. christover

If your at woodpecker I am the 4runner with dirty grey shit on the side where the stickers should be.

For a couple of bucks give Shellite a go, if it dosen't work for ya you can use it in you camping stove ... :lol:

we use heat and a prepsole rag in the panle shope i work in but as was said befor can cach on fire if its like a sheat off sticky stuff u may be able to peal it off with heat

and shellite .... works well for me
