Well I'm gonna stick in a new clutch in my F310 as I discovered today that I have NO more adjustment available to it and when pedal is fully depressed it's still gripping and on a flat with out the brake used and the clutch pedal depressed the Roza is creeping forward
So am wanting to know who's the best mob to get them from and whats a reasonable price for one?

If it aint broke pull it apart and find out why not.
Are you sure you've been adjusting it in the right direction? A worn clutch usually does exactly the opposite of what you're describing. Something somewhere in the release mechanism could be stuffed though?
I'm assuming it's a cable clutch, if so maybe you can add some washers somewhere to give you a bit more adjustment?

I had another play with the adjustments on the clutch and managed to squeese another 5 to 6mm of adjusment and it seems to have fixed my problem (for now anyway) and selecting gears including reverse is a lot easier now. From what I could tell there is only 2 to 3mm of thread still holding.
But I thinks that I will still need to get the clutch done soonish.

That's a bit ............ odd.
Usually worn clutches show up as slipping not gripping - perhaps its the pressure plate / release bearing or arm.
Still pulling it out will tell.
I put a competition clutch and driven plate in mine (no longer available) and whilst it certainly gripped I lost a lot of "feel", it was very hard to engage progressively which for a stock Feroza is something you need to make up for the awful gearing.
Eventually used the competition pressure plate with a stock driven plate and it was better to drive - so sometimes stock is best for normal driving.
Eventually chucked the manual - Auto's the go...........

Adelaide Clutch Services (ACS) is the go. They manufacture new plates and clutches for just about anything. They make the Clutchpro (I think?) branded clutches and they also do a range they call "Xtreme Outback" specially for 4x4's. They also have flywheel machining services available while you wait. Top blokes.
Just bought a Heavy Duty Xtreme Outback clutch for my TDI Rocky. Cost $500 all up. This included new clutch, pressure plate, spigot bearing, thrust bearing, flywheel machining and new dowels.
Sounds to me like a couple of spring tags that retain the pressure plate in the pressure plate housing have let go.
This happened on my other rocky a few years back. There's about 3 or so that hold the plate. One had obviously been gone for a while because I had the clutch adjusted to the furthest extent. Then one cold morning I found that it wouldnt disengage. If I started it in gear with my foot on the clutch it was fine. It still wasn't gripping enough to move the car when in gear and the clutch depressed but it was enough to stop gear selection at standstill. Once moving gear changes required a bit more effort with the left arm, but the syncromesh sorted most of that.
Sounds like you might only have 2 tags left holding....

Seems to be a pattern with Daihatsu clutches...
I had a similar experience with the Mouse.... a small retaining clip had come adrift in the sprung centre of the driven plate.
Damm thing would suddenly decide not to disengage - completely at random. You had to stop, push it backwards and forwards, recite the third chapter of the Feroza manual backwards and off it would go until next time.

MM surely you jest re the auto? If I had auto feroza's and Rockies I wouldn't be able to impress my friend so much. He owns a '97 auto Hi Lux Surf by the way...very scary beast going down a greasy slope, and barely better going up. I know which transmission I'd rather have if my life depended on it.
No Tansy, I'm deadly serious - pulled the manual out of the Mouse and replaced it with an AW4 auto and crawler gears.
