Mobile Antenna - FME VS miniUHF

Post by barbz »

Im in the process of ordering a car kit for my mobile.

The kit does not come with an antenna but does say it accepts a miniuhf plug.

Most of the antennas I can find have a FME plug - I can get an adapter so this is not a problem but does anyone know what the differences are or can post some photos of both types of sockets.

Cheers

I think you'll find the aerial with come with an assortment of different connectors as well. You just fit the appropriate adaptor for the handsfree system you are using. Don't quote me on this but that is the experience I have had with fitting aerials.
