I know a guy in kiwiland with one, should be similar spec.
His one is doublecab with a welldeck and canopy.

Seems rapt with the engine but has already put a stone through one of the factory tyres.

i'm not sure exactly which model but i heard through the grapevine that the new ones use the same clutch as the old models, which where prone to chewing clutchs out. something for you to check up on.

You'd have to be pretty hard on it to kill the clutch. IE, Operator error.

I did 161000km with the 1st one with lots of heavy towing (5th gear died at 150000) and the 2nd one I don't have any more and still going strong at similar k's. (But gearbox done at 70000km).

I believe it is a modified old Mazda RX7 gearbox.

yeah I have driven one awhile back and I reckon they are a great ute. We drove from Adelaide to Alice esting it against all the other utes on the market.

The one I drove was well put together and felt a lot tighter than the Mazda and had a suspension setup that I liked. The engine/gbox combo are awesome. Very quick and offroad was fine. The only drawback was the back seats on a dual cab aren't very big for carrying adults but for kids would be fine. Appointments and extras were good and for the money are definetly a good package
