AA is the older Marlin one right?

Do some come with a speedo cable attachment thing, or is that a prob you have to fix with all of them?

Marlin comes with a lot more for a little extra money - i think snake was having a sale on the marlins atm

Plus it has the better bearing - but that is no biggy

ask or search on pirates

this has been covered in aus and in us sites

also marlin site has a forum, with lots of cool info

tonka

personally i think you need to do TWO things before you think about gears:

POWER UP (more power, whether it be a V8, V12, jet engine) or just a simple turbo!!

AND

STEP UP MOFO (get some bigger tyres/meat/rubber) round black rings/donuts, that wrap aorund the PHAT DUBS (bling bling shiney chrome/white things) under the rig!!! once these are larger then the power is up, then think about gears, until then PLEASE bring back as many US products as you can for your "friends" like spazbot, and stuff, and you will know how its done so when you go to do it, you cna do it quick cheap and simple and pay less ;)

ya dig!!

now stop moaning and start GETTIN IT!
hands and mums dont count!!!

there is a dude in the US atm selling the AA adapter for $275USD ea.
In my books its a farken bargin as by the time you get it here to au, if its in your bag its less than $600 if you mail it it may be like $650 - $700 max

there is a thread on pirate about it http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=103184

the benfits of buying one in the USA feel free too.

they are 700USD with a 4.7 reduction, that works out to be around 1300 australian which is less than you would pay for just the adaptor here or about 100 more than the gears. either way it is alot cheaper and that is the only real advantage.

get the double cardin shaft out an Import surf and then the solid shaft of a dual cab and it will be long enough.

it cost exactly 47USD to ship one, and at 275 that is a bargain. It SHOULD swing through customs too.
