hey guys im doing up my zook 94 and im wanting to do the lift i have the body lift kit here already to go but the next stage i want to do right so if anyone could help it would be great :O)

Seeing as you're located in qld, you will be unable to get this mod engineered and therefore unable to legally use your zook on the road.
Honestly, you will not need to run a body lift on top of a springover. You will be recoculously tall and extremely prone to tipping in even a slight off camber situation. Look at guard chops before adding more lift, just because you want to run larger tyres does not mean you go reaching for as much height as possible. your car will look silly as well as being outright dangerous. Trust me, Ive owned a body lifted, sprungover sierra and I wouldnt do anything other than mall crawling in it before I removed the body lift.
Having said all that, this is the right way to do it but it is not a mod to be performed by anyone who considers themselves a "rookie". It requires a good welding and mildy complex goemetry adjustments to your steering and driveline angles.
Im not telling you not to do it but there is a bunch of other mods that could suit your needs better than a SOA. Why not post up your plans and let some of the genuine genius's on here suggest a good, safe way to acheive your aims.

That ZukiKrawler thread is a good one. Couple of points though - the hogged out merc steering arm is IMHO hack - it's cheap, but there are better options, and lengthened brake lines are cheap enough to not warrant extending the stock lines and adding extra parts.
It's a good indication of what's involved though.

Agreed Steve. I have said before that IMHO the merc arm is a poor substitute for proper hi-steer. steve, is there a better option under $1000? i know of a set of the merc arms installed an engineered and instead of filing out the rear hole, he straightened the arch out of the arm to get the right length. i like the snake racing knuckle too, but i like my $1000 better.
side note on the noob thing, yes the bible has some good info in it but to me that search button is the biggest waste of time going. i dont think i have ever put a search in and come up with the right answer in less than 10 pages of dribble.

That sounds like a better solution so long as heat treatment was well controlled. I agree that $1K is prohibitive for many people, but it really is the best solution - there's just not enough meat anywhere on the knuckle to bolt and arm and expect reliability/strength.
As for the search thing - I have had good results with it, but normally I'm looking for specific things. I agree it's clunky though. Normally I only get ansty when tuff has been covered recently and I know it isn't hard to find.
Obviously, if you put "suzuki" or "Sierra" in, you're going to have trouble.
I put "spring over how to" into search and got this thread on the second page. No, it's not a how to, but it does have a good description of the pros and cons and some "robust" discussion about costs.

the best option is the snake high steer.
but if you are on a budget then get your hands on a drop pitman arm. this is what i used 10 years ago to cure the steering on my spring over zook, the arm i got was a "trail master" 3" drop pitman arm. this left everything else stock, it bolted on and my drag link never hit my springs at full lock.
they are cheap, and live is expensive. don't mess with your life or other road users lives. we have enough trouble, with getting even the smallest mods approved. without someone (who wanted to save a few dollars) killing someone else in a modified 4x4.
