Post by Brainless »

Hi,

I currently have a YN67 Hilux with a 4Y-C Engine and am wondering what Diff ratio you would recommend for use with 35inch Tyres

Do you know what you have now :?: if there 4.3:1 which i highly doubt you'd step upto a 4:5.1 or 4:8.1

I think that model will already have 4.8 so you might have to look at something even higher like into the 5.12

You already have 4.875 diff ratio
I am thinking 5.28 ratio with 35s

be careful with going to that higher ratio as i have been told that the diffs are weaker than the 4.875.
I run 33s and have the same truck (yn-67 4y-c) and don't have any probs with the ratios.
