hey guys
i have an mq and i am putting coils in the rear, the easiest way would be to use a gq housing in which the centre is located centrally but the mq transfer is a drivers side drop. just wondering how the car would drive with the angle on the driveshaft??
the wheelbase will be getting extened so the rear shaft will be hopefully at least 10 inches longer than standard and can get it made to have a double cardon uni joint also.

For a 6" lift GQ if you don't put on the rear adjustable pan hard rod then you will get uni vibrations. I know that Rangie people who put GQ diffs and axles under their Rangie get uni vibrations because of the misalignment. Someone might be able to help more if they have done or tried what you are trying to do.
I don't know your situation but you maybe better of selling up and getting a GQ.

no difference whether it is off to the side or straight there is still only one angle at each uni as long as these are the same and dont have more angle then the unijoint can handle u will be fine

i beleive it would be better with no double cardon, as these are designed to run with one end angled and the other straight.
