About 1.5hr after you rang last night I went to bed an was lying there thinking (yes often think of you) that I should have just gotten you to give them my address cause I actually had the camper set up out front for cleaning/airing and they could have just driven round here in front wheel drive and crashed in the camper for the night and we could have sorted the rest out this morning
Cheers

Unbelievable, Blackers, is there a truck you can drive that you dont put on its side !!!!

I do beleive that all 4 wheels where on the ground, so really it was not on its side :bad-words: ..... close but not on its side.

We could hear you from the Check Point. It was all noise for about 3 min and then dead silence :D I imagine thats when it all turned pair shaped :?: We started calling you on Ch21 about 15 min later as we haddnt heard you again but couldn't raise you. As we found out later though you were all on 31. We were just about to head out looking for you when we spotted headlights through the trees a long way off. Then the 4 of you appeared from the wrong direction about 10 min later

Thanks Logan 4x4 club for a another good run.
Big thanks to Brett for running this event and helping with my recovery.
And a big thanks to Peter from Cityview 4x4 park for his help towing me out, he stuck by us the hole time until we got back to the road

Breaking the rear diff pinion was not the smartest thing I have done, I can think of better stuff to do on a Saturday night, other than stripping the rear diff out and removing the broken pinion , refitting all parts and then winching out, (With only front drive)! lucky for me the winch found a second wind and managed to pull us out!.

Damage report is as before, still crying about the death of those beloved 3.5 diff gears,

Sorry to all those that got stuck behind me winching up the hill and for the track diversion that I caused, , guess my heavy duty control arms were not heavy enough!

Yeah ...It wasnt the whole that stopped us, We had a slight mechanical problem which took a little to fix, then into it again.......All good now..
