suspension link q's

Post by Spartacus »

My current setup on the rear is using pajero control arms with panhard.
Ive since undone the rear bolts and added a upper control arm turning it into a 3link.

Ive lifted the car and maxed out the down travel of the radius arms putting me in two minds.

should i change the setup to nissan bushes either end with long links?
or get bent links made with the pin/bolt setup at the chassis end

may rip it all out and make into tri 4-link as last resort.

Put a pick up if it needs further clarification of whats poo.

hey dude, bent links with pin and radius bush would be cheapest.

nissan bushes and it will be harder to do and will prolly drive alot better and smoother

4 link it will be like mikes car in the rear end.
turbos are nice but i'd rather be blown

you will have to redo both of the mounts, diff and chassis. if your doing that you may aswell just go for a 4 link.

have a chat to mick at superior and tell him your setup. he doesnt like doing custom custom work anymore but might be able to help you out. i was going to et some made up a while ago with radius arm bushes in one end and nissan on the other. so you could keep the diff mounts.

the diff mounts are the same width as the nissan bush. cant see why they
have to be changed??
if i put the lowers under the chassis i can make them as long as i want.

they are 55mm mounts, nissan bushes are 65mm. unless they are unusual bushes.... they are pajero.
