I just replaced the stereo in my Triton, mitsu did me the great service of placing a bunch of black wires in the oem radio plug... I figured out the constant and accessory wires, can anyone enlighten me as to which wire is for the "auto dimming" - so the face of the new radio dims when the parkers are turned on...???
Thanks in advance...

Replacement stereo in MK Triton...
I wish my lawn was EMO, then it would cut itself...
I did that, just forgot to mention it... I have a habit of telling half a story...Mr T-riton wrote:Do you have test light?
Use that and probe the wires with your lights on....once you have found the test bulb lit up. turn the lights off....if it turns off then there ya go.
3 wires lit up at ~6v when the lights were turned on, nothing came near 12v...
thanks for the reply...

Excellent, I didn't think of that and I have my instruments very dim generally...greybeard wrote:if it is driven off the dimmer cct then it won't be 12v.
try the test again but adjust the dimmer brightness and see which wire tracks the change in brightness
Thanks...
