Gu Rear Sway Bar Links

Post by Slug »

Gents,
What are my options (brand and price) for replacing these? The originals broke on one side not long after I bought the car and without thinking too long and hard, I bought another set from Pedders which broke a while ago. I have been running without them but to me, the car feels a bit unsure of itself on the bendy bits.

Car was lifted @ 3" when I bought it and I am assuming that there lies the issue with standard length links! Don't have a need/want for disconnects. Whiteline sells a set for a little over 200 bills marketed as "super heavy duty" but doesn't have a pic of what "super heavy duty" looks like!!

Any thoughts?

Cheers

the std whiteline 4" ones will be fine, the super heavy duty ones wear the bearings we found.

the super HD ones look like this [this was on my truck]

I think one retails for around $140 a pr, and the other around $220 a pr.

The nolathane bushed ones are more than strong enough,a nd dont break like the std ones, and can be adjusted to be right length, as they come in 0-2" and 2"-4" lengths, so that they dont limit up or down travel of the shock.

Thanks a heap bloke :D

Just had a look at the whiteline website http://www.whiteline.com.au/ and came up with Code: #KLC061 for a 100mm lift.

Looks to be the goods by your pic above.
