Hilux gearbox change?

Hi All,
A mate has just bought and blown his gearbox in a 92 hilux, It has a V6 commy motor in it, I have done a couple of Patrol box changes, anything technical need to know about hilux change?

If your putting a standard g52 box in it probably won't last long. Mate of mine has done 3 in 8 months.

G52, I done 4 in 12.5 years.

Driving style HAS to be modified. No dropping clutch or snap-changes.

Towing is not a problem either, it's just driving style.

Big throttle at low revs also hurts the G52.
I'm the sharpest tool in the shed!
