i wanna build a tray for my dual cab hilux 03 model
after its built do i need any sorta certifications or engineering done so it doesnt void insurance and its roadworthy.
also any pics of some dual cab trays people have done would be very helpful for rough ideas

duno bout QLD but in NSW dont need any certification that i know of but does need to comply with the usual regs. NSW tailights have to no less than 50mm in from the edges things like that and all the usuall stuff(mud flaps etc). Ive been defected for these before and had nothing said at all about my tray itself it got a roadworthy without a floor on it once too . might have to watch your lenghts and widths maybe?but im sure there is prob a couple of rules u might need to follow. It would pay to tell your insurance company about it or they might not cover you.
