Hilux Mirror Swap

Post by fervit »

Just curious, is it possible to swap the little mirrors on a 92 dual cab for the bigger mirrors found on the trayback hiluxs (and landcruisers)? Has anyone done it - is it hard to do?

As long as your using factory Toyota mirrors and brackets. The top bolts straight on to your existing holes. You need to drill 2 new holes on the bottom and either screw them on with metal self tappers or pull the door trim off and fit nuts and bolts through the mount. Unless you can get your hands on a Nutsert installer and some nutserts.
