I'll measure my Q78's tomorrow. They're mounted on 16X7's.
Q78's are taller than 35" simex's and tougher. Simex's are better in sloppy mud, Q78's are better on rock and rutted terrain. Slippery stuff i reckon they're on a par.

Hmmmm.. On road, simex's all the way.
Swampers are fair pigs when they're cold, they do get better with a bit of temp in them but you cant beat radials on the road.
I'd prefer to put up the swampers on road though for the benefits you get off road.

I reckon the simex's are noisier than swampers too.
I have seen some simexes do some great stuff on clay etc, but I'd never own a set. I've had 4 sets of swampers though and LOVE Q78's.
Steve.

I'd say the 78, but can't be sure.
PS they will go on a mechanically beadlocked 6" rim too (so effectively 6.5") and they sit very nicely- they look really tall and narrow like that.

ok so those sizes i posted tell me it has a tread width of 9.5 inches or 241mm and a cross section (im guessing thats what c.s. stands for????)
width of 10.8 inches or 275mm
does that sound right?
how much difference to width would mounting them on 6.5 inch rims over a 7 inch rim make???
the simex i saw/measured that were 35 10.5 16 were 10.5 at the tread and 12 or about 305mm at the widest point (cross section)
