Hard Top to Soft Top in QLD

Post by basketcase »

I want to replace the body on my 92 Hard Top. Have been looking for a few weeks now and descent hard tops are few and far between. But soft tops seem be everywhere in half descent condition.

Does any one in QLD know what the issues would be with the DOT?

Would I need to see an engineer to do a blue plate? (would just ask mine but he is always on the phone :bad-words: )

Should be no different to any other body swap, approval wise. I don't think there were any different ADR's for hardtop or soft tops as the sierra came in as light commercial vehicles thus didn't have to meet to many.
