Could someone tell me the diff ratios for the different model Suzi's & approximate year.

Sierra 84 and earlier 1 litres 4:1 (not interchangeable with 1.3 diffs)
post 84 1.3 narrow track sierras 3:9
post 88 wide track sierras 3:7

no idea on vitaras, but 4:6 and 5:12 exist in some models

Vitaras came out in 5.125, 4.875 and 4.555555555555555 etc (4.6).


5.125 seems to be most SWB and early Vits, the others seem to be far less common and relate to some EFI and Auto models. Seems a bit sporadic on the usage so I dunno if there is a pattern or not.

Dunno about Grand Vitaras....

some 1.3's came out with 4.11 too (late 84-early 85's)
if its worth doing do it intensly , better still do it with MADPASSION

my 87 LWB narrow track 1.3 has 4.1

Do a search these numbers have been mentioned a million times (maybe not a million but enough times)
