e10 in a 1989 2.6 petrol paj
as the title says.......is it a problem using e10 in the 2.6 astron motors???
"All petrol engine vehicles since 1986 will operate satisfactorily on E10. Mitsubishi vehicles with carburettor fuel systems built before 1991 may experience hot fuel handling concerns and may experience a lower level of durability in some fuel system components."

I think the damage to components part is a bit of hype, my bro has a sigma (astron 1) using E10 for 6months so far and it goes fine as does my paj also astron 1, neither have any hot fuel handling concerns or damage. That said my falcon is a bit harder to start when its hot and idles a bit rougher when its cold and the choke is on.
the XT or the XF? two different motorsSigjero wrote: That said my falcon is a bit harder to start whhen hot
