He would love MTR's/MTZ/Xterrain and yea the false economy of buying cheap tires yadda ;)
Still going good for me, I run two sets of tyres (town and play) so they are seeing mostly off road work.

Left em on for a few weeks whilst driving around Sydney, soft compound and very gripy on road for muddys but boy they will wear quick if your constantly running em on the black stuff.
fast wearing, thats what I thought :) Shame, i dont think they look 1/2 bad!
Thanks....

In fairness I should say quick compared to a more road friendly tyre.
My BFG M/T's wore fairly quickly as well when I had them always on around town. But the Kumho's I feel are faster wearing than BFG M/T's.

ive got a set in 305-70-16. realy happy with them.

a little undersized, but wat isnt.

have out performed bf muds, maxxis, and others all in 33's on the same tracks/holes

my mates has a set on his cruiser ute, hardly worn at all an been on there for 2 years. either of us have yet to have a punture, cut, or failure in any way. done many trips to glashouse/cruiser all extreme terain.

its a pity they dont come in some 35-36" sizes

Passed my old set the other day which ended up on a patrol ute. No idea what kms they have done, but they are driven on daily and look to be about half warn, maybe slightly more.

For the record after 85000 out of last mtz's on gu which could have done 90000, new ones ryano put on so far got 33000km on them and worn about a 1/3 so on track for a repeat performance. And going great guns. Again do get a little noisy when your slack like me and dont balance/rotate enough. Wish i had done mine at say 15. Just got them done and hopefully as even up might get slightly quieter. Again just makes talking on car kit hard at times but not bad at all. Still loving the sand at 20psi run on truck between 32-35 depending on how loaded they are. Any more and they get a bit bouncy but that more the heavy duty after market springs

Again this for touring type driving on 06 gu 3l auto so certainly fark all hope of any smokeys  man... i want a car that can smoke em!

I think if km's your thing they should have the khumo covered :!:
