I know this thread has pretty much been answered but i thought i would share my solution to this prob.
I went and bought a length of 10mm keyway steel, cut an inch off the end, filed it a little and hammered it into a spare 12mm, 1/2" drive socket.
Now i have a plug tool that fits the plug filler socket much better than my 3/8" drive does and wont lift out of or damage older, tight plugs even when i put my 40cm, 1/2" drive bar on it.

VMX80 for gearbox and transfer.

I dont have a manual, so what transmission oil do ya use??
For 1.6L auto Vit some are;
Castrol TQ DIII
Valvoline ATF type D
shell ATF IID or ATF IIIG
Most of the lube companies have Lube guides where you can put your vehicle make-model and it will give you all the recommended oils (but don't trust them too much )
