assuming hilux, there was a model which came out with 2LT (2.4 turbo). i don't know what the gen 1 version looked like (thought it came out earlier than '89)

Its a 3L 89 Hilux extra cab. LN111 model. Its not stock for that model. A 4WD place near me thought it was an aftermarket kit. I am thinking that way as well as it has an oil cooler as well which may have been part of it.

Looks like the turbo I had on my 85 model 2.4L. Mine was a Toyota CT20. straight out of a surf. I didn't put mine on, I bought it like that. Mine had an intercooler on top, but the turbo looks the same.
I don't know anything about turbos, but It'll probably say what it is on the front. Next to where the fresh air goes in. Was running 10pound boost and was pretty quick for me. No street racer but it brought it up to scratch

not a stock c20, it would have toyota on the comp cover, the piping is aftermarket, could be a safari or DTS turbo kit, definitely after market though.

should be a plate on the turbo saying what it is or have a part number. pretty sure its isnt a dts system, different intake piping. not a ats setup?
If all else fails, use a bigger hammer

hilux- locked lifted and turboed

I will pull some numbers off tomorrow. It is a Garett definitely. No Toyota written anywhere. From what I have seen looking on the net. Its not DTS, Schwitzer or Denco.
