FJ47 troopy rear seats

Post by harrygrey382 »

Hi fellas, new to this forum...

I'm looking for rear seats for my 1981 HJ47 troopy. They don't seem to be too common, but does anyone know fo someone that might have them around (south of) Sydney?

Also, will 70 series troopy rears fit without modifcations - I'm looking to not need an engineer's report...
Thanks
Harry

hey. r u looking for the bench seats that run down the sides or the 3 seat bench across the back so it's a 5 seater.

the 75 seats. will probably take a smaal amount of modifying as the 47 has a diferent shape interior to the 75.
best bet is to have a look at a 75 troopie and take some measurments. Any after market seat aditions will probably have to be enginered. check the law in ur state.
kaylee 2004 hdj78 RV. 33 mickey atz's, winchbar, 3i lift, 3i exhoust, spoties, roofracks and ufh. pimped interior .

i'm after the bench seats for down the sides, I didn't even know they ever had a bench across, but if tehy're standard I'd take them as well.
I guessed the 75's would need modifying, defo after 40 series then

I have a set sitting in my back room complete with seat belts and you wont have to have it enginered if you use the standard seats
However i don't want to muck around shipping them & i have no time to wait around for someone to pick them up so i spose i,ll just keep them untill i get sick of them and throw them down the tip

not joking
why whould you want to take 8 freeloaders 4wdriving sucking cans when you have to stay sober
the best thing with a troopy is you can fit in a Queen size matteress in the back and go camping and 4wdring with out having to set up a tent

I agree, if there were two of us... But I'm planning on taking a few people on a drive, it's my only car and is kind of a pain with only 3 seats. You sure you couldn't be persuaded to part with them?
