Just looking for feedback or opinions on these items.

Also does this kit contain everything needed?
or should I look at adding more parts to it? (what else is needed if anything)

Hi.

I am currently in the process of lifting my GU Wagon 5 inch.
Once i fitted my Adjustable Panhard Rods and centred my diffs evenly, it kicked my steering wheel out 1/4 of a turn.
i fixed this with an ajustable drag link ( heavy duty) which i didnot even consider when i was sourcing parts.
My truck is in getting drop 4-5 inch Drop boxes fitted at the moment.

So consider a adjustable drag link , that is not pictured in the link.

What brand spring?
Not keen on bushes or plates.
Arms or boxes are better.
Try Big"O"4x4 also on Ebay or Oondy @ WWW.patrol4x4.com ( same bloke).

My lpg tank sits pretty low (below the tow bar) and want alot more clearance so I can go virtually anywhere...

What size lift would you guys recomend?
Will be used for daily duties as well as off road & comps etc

So for daily driver, comp truck, weekender, and tourer?

Possibly a 4inch would do.

but 3inch sus will fit 37's with a bit of guard trimming. or 35s not to hard either.

Yeah I have a GQ.
So a 4 inch lift with 35's should be good for all round use?
I thought I'd go for 6" to compensate any sag that may occur...

I need the cargo area & 3rd row seat as I have a family & the GQ is our all rounder. Also it's not just the LPG tank that makes me want to lift it, I am hoping for good clearance all round as I wish to do a fair bit of off road work in mild to wild conditions...

Any more than 4" for an all purpose Patrol is going to be a backwards step. Most 'serious' will be running at the eqivalent of 4" or less. Normally less as the lower it is the better it performs and handles.
93 Nissan Pathfinder / Terrano Turboed VH45, GQ Trans and T-case, coil overs, hydraulic winch and fair bit of other stuff. (Currently a pile of parts in the workshop)

only have 3" in mine and its good enough as an allrounder.
still pleasant to drive on the road and handles well.

hey gas we currently have 5"(sagged to 4.5) springs and 2" body and raised the tank. i think thats a better option maybe 3+2 and raise tank
1993 Gq lwb with added xtra's :) sold
fj60,lifted,35s,33s for daily, 3f power!
