Multipurpose DD and 4x4

Post by zookimal »

I need to do a vehicle upgrade and here's where I'm at:

1. I can only have one car because I'm in a unit now and don't have the space.
2. I need 'some' comfort (EFI, A/C etc) as it'll see some commuting/city driving.
3. I want to keep my 4x4 for at least med level trips.
4. I have a leafy WT with 6.5s, 31s etc etc already, but the body is poor and motor dieing.

Should I just sell my zook bits (which some know I'd been considering) and put the cash towards something else? GQ etc

Or keep the badge and try to make a Jimny buildup work using some of the stuff I've already got, ie, transfer etc? Or a Vit?

if u get a vit grab antts dual case setup

if the IFS rig will keep up with the tracks you go then that will be ok rig. more power and efi/ac.

jimny may need more $$ for mods to get same result but i would love to mod one like the white Malaysian one in the members rides.

Get yourself a long wheelbase

do a custom tray with more storage space and bigger tyres on custom spring mounts with shackle reversal and chromo axles. then you'd have what you have now cept better with more storage and cheaper than another car cause of the interchangeable parts. LWB is where it's at ;)

I agree x2 (2.0 swb Vitara).

Cheap on fuel bit more power than the Sierra.
Body lift and keep your 31's

Don't lower yourself to a GQ.
