lookin at 84 sahara turbo diesel the seller says it has blown a head gasket
and its running on 2-3 cylinders is there any way of knowing its a gasket and not a cracked head without removing the head
If i just overtook you head to your nearest mechanic

I believe you'll have to take the head off to be certain.

Yep & have it crack tested at a head shop.

If it's only running on 2 or 3 cyls then it's not likely to be JUST a head gasket.
In saying that, if it's a 12HT it's worth doe so it may be worth a rebuild

it only has 280k on clock what would a reco head be worth
