Thoughts on these EGT gauge setups

Post by Mark2 »

Found this on ebay:
http://cgi.ebay.com.au/VDO-Exhaust-temp ... dZViewItem

Looks easy to install and the price is good but the sender looks a bit vulnerable on a 4WD.

Anyone using one?, comments?

For $100 u cant go wrong

The sender should sit with in 6" post turbo so if u can get something jammed up that far into your engine bay the egt gauge not working would be the last of your worries. Even better mount it pre turbo.

Standard VDO setup that dozens on here are using, and great price.

I've had one on my GQ and fitted one up straight away on GU with boost gauge.

Grab it.
