hey guys just about to spray my mq shorty
what id like to know is there a paint that i can spray or apply to the chassie, under body, diffs etc etc which i can simply hose off most ov the crap.
or is this just a crazy thought i've imagened again?

82 MQ SD33T, 5 speed, 4.6 diffs, 50mm spring, 40mm body, front extened 50mm, 35' trapdors (awsum) just lovin getin out there
does this stuff come in different colours and fisnishes. looking for gloss black to paint my sliders and skid plate.....but without gettin powdercoating (which chips anyway). what would be good for this type of application?GUpatrol02 wrote:penetrols pretty good, dries really hard and possibly helps prevent rust. abit pricey tho about 85 bucks for 4 ltrs.

gmh flat black or satin black etch primer both cheap both can be easily applied and touched up when damage occurs if ur after good finish powder is the only way to go but yes it does chip and has a huge film build so harder to repaor penetrols also a very good product but not sue if u can get it in differant finishes ,

Supacheap do a good 'CHASSIS BLACK' product and its around the $20 for 4lits.......
As for the "hose off" situation, I use a mixture of auto trans fluid and baby oil........ apply it with a kero wash gun to the areas that suffer mud adheasion the day before ya wheel...... whats stuck will hose off dead easy but most will fall off in the scrub before ya get home.
