swapping diff gears between models

Post by Rampage »

ok so i may have avaliable to me a set of front and rear 4.3 diff gears out of a 1999 GU 4.5 patrol auto and i want to put them in mine car to replace the standard 3.9s! but my question is will they fit my 1999GU 42TDt manual!

i would think that the fornt diff sizes would be the same across the board of most gu models but are the rears also the same!

cheers Cam

do you know of any cases where the ratios stamped on the compliance { on the firewall } did not match the actual ratios in the vehicle?
