just a quick question can i use 90/140 gear oil in my gq 5 speed because i had a heap giving to me and it would be a shame to let it go to waste

NOT in Gearbox or transfer...can use in front diff if your desperate...but still prolly too heavy.
Using it in gearbox will cause very hard changes....and synchros will not work at all well in cold weather. Transfer will not get chain links lubricated properly as the stiff cold oil will not penetrate the links until well warmed up..and of course not in rear diff ..LSD oil only.

u can put in rear diff just get some LSD additive, cheaper than buying new oil!!!! Or I will buy it off you!!!
