Post by gonezoe »

it used to idle on 800rpm now about 300rpm hard to start. all the gears when going rev out to 4500 rpm or more but 5th gears will only rev to apprax 2000 to 2500 rpm witch is 80 to 90 kph sometimes when warm after 20 min it itll rev out to 3000 to 3500 approx 100
it is also using heaps more fuel any ideas would be helpful
it is a feroza with a applause motor in it with efi

Give us a hint as to what "IT" is and we might be able to help.

If its a Feroza as per your avatar check the diagnostic codes as a first step - its been covered many times and a search of the FAQ will turn up heaps of help.

Manuals can be downloaded as well. WARFS.ORG is a good place to start.
( usual disclaimers )

It seemed like a much better idea when I started it than it does now.

WTF?

I am sure that there were carby Feroza's sold in other parts of the world, such as the Phillipines, but in Australia, all Feroza's were EFI.

He's edited MM - Feroza with an applause motor in it.

Run trouble codes. (The Check Engine light is connected, right?)

Check exhaust for blockeages

Check for vacuum leaks

Check timing
