Soft top??

Post by Fmx_Aus »

G'day,

After about 2 hours on a really rocky track my soft top seems to have come loose. I cant see where, but now driving any faster then 60km/h it flaps like a bastard.

Happened to anyone before?? And advice??

Thanks a heap.

A day out in the hot sun can make it significantly worse (heat softenes it up, and expands it slightly). Have you let it cool down and gone for another drive?

isnt that many places to have to check!

-Top of windscreen frame

-top of doors where top folds under(mine NEVER stays-bloody velco-cable tie;))

-behind/along B pillar

-'press studs along rear quarter

-'snap' studs on tailgate+zips..

(bunnings sell the press stud clips in the 'arts' section off memory)
