body lift

Post by want to be a wylie »

hi all i have just done a 50mm bl in a gq and was wondering
about the clearance issues on low range

so what to do

cut the floor clear

or how hard is it to remove the sticks and put the oxy on them
and bend them a little
or in the hydraulic press

if this is a bad idea just let me know

or is there another option

Mate what vehicle did you do the body lift.

As with my patrol did 50mm lift and only had to cut the floor for the 4wd lever for low range...

Cheers Chris.

P.S if you have to cut the florr for 2 and forth the body is not sitting right.

You can lengthen them.

yep this is what I did... just had the seats and vinal flooring out then unscrewed the cover and moved it back as far as possible, then screwed it back on.

no problem
