Bent bullbar mount

Post by Sean »

G'day,

Bent the tube section which the bullbar mounts to. Now it scraps when i turn full lock to the left. Question is, has anyone got any ideas on how to straighten it?

thanks in advance.

Cheers,
Sean

They're not hard to straighten.

Straighten it and keep if it your tyres don't normally scrub. Removing them seriously weakens the bullbar mount and creates lots of extra work trying to get the strength back.

all sorted.

I just wired a long bar to the tube section and used the extra leverage to straighten it out controlled and accurately.
