60 series landcruiser springs
Are extended shackles the way to go for a lift on a 60 series cruiser?or should i add extra leaf springs. Thanks
extended shackles are an easy way to get some lift and depending on shackle angle can also improve the ride/flex of the car, but they are also illegal in qld. adding extra leaves really only helps in load carrying, when the car is empty though having the stiffer leaf packs will end up bouncing the fillings out of your teeth. the best way to get some lift legally and to good effect is just to buy some lifted leaf packs, the EFS springs i have in my 75 seem to ride and flex well, and i think they are a 2in lift.
75 series - in progress...
