80 series 4x4 problem

ive got a 93 80 series cruiser it will not engage the 4 wheel drive any ideas on what to check first

it will not engage 4x4 or it wont lock the center diff?

will not engage centre i have a part time kit in were the centre diff is but works the same just suppose to push button on dash to engage 4x4 so it all works the same but does do nothing now when you push the button.

just wondering if there is any common probs need to find out if it is electronic or mechanical prob

why can't they just have the old gear stick engage it they never stuff up.

You can start by checking the center diff motor 30A fuse in the cabin fuse box.

thanks mate! after dropping the box down and checking the wires its only that fuse thanks again!
