Vitara In Tank Pump

Post by Hybrid »

Hi Guys,

I've done the 1.6L TBI swap in my Sierra. Its currently running an external fuel pump but I'm getting a larger capacity tank fabbed so I thought I'd put in the in tank pump from the Vitara. I can get an aftermarket pump in from the states for about $100 but it doesn't look to have the pickup etc. Would it be possible to graft this into my standard sierra pick up or should I just go rip the whole shebang out of a vit tank at the wreckers?

Id just go the whole vitara shebang, but just check the fuel pressure requirement and regulator setup for TBI.

Thanks Steve. I'll hit the wreckers on the weekend.
