Car paint color charts?

Looking for some ideas for a new paint job. Anyone got a link to some auto paint charts for the main suppliers. I don't know who they are to google.

Best to pick factory colours you like, then there's a paint code and touch ups etc are easy.

My car is olive drab sprayed at home kinda in the rain and touched up after each trip... sometimes even after the car gets a wash So I don't really rate paint on a car that goes offroad.

*decent brands -ppg , du pont, glasaruit, spies hecker, standox, *cheaper brands- Autothane , protec , lacnam , chemtech , feel free to add any more ive forgotten guys and gals , just look in your local yellow pages and ring around id go glasaruit if money is no option , if money is tight id base it up with ppg and use autothane clear , and autothane primer , all brands have a huge range of colours just gota ask the shops for the colour chips
or just google it !

also 2pac is alot more durable then acrylic and will last alot longer , and if your after a long lasting tough paint and your truck is just a basher and not real worried bout the body work id paint it 2pac polyurethane very durable also as its an industrial paint but if you do it right it can look awesome aswell, i wouldnt go acrylic as its a bit dated and not a very protective paint ,

All the brands you have listed are out of my range for a bush truck, my last truck I painted with Solver Industrial enamel and I'm obviously not the only one to do this as, Solver had the correct colour code for my Toyota.

If I gave it a good paint job I might get pissed if it got damaged, I go bush to have fun and relax, I can't do that if I am worried about scratches.
I appreciate the advice and it might be good for someone else but not me.

I was thinking of going to Aussie disposals and getting the genuine army olive drab, but it is a lead based paint.

The aussie disposals "Duck Punt Paint" is just equipment enamel and is made for them by Wagon Paints in Bayswater.

I bought all the 1l tins in melbourne 18 months ago after I had Wagon mix me 4 litres and they gave me gloss first and then satin once they tried to fix it.

It's really really hard to get a paint place to mix flat. They'll normally only do satin.

The aussie disposals paint is nearly twice the price of Protec though - their equipment enamel is $47 for 4 litres.

its ok dude just trying to help, if you just want a quick job look up ameron paints or wattyl as well they both make polyurethane and are cheap but also there enamel is cheaper lol , ppg make cheap air dry enamel as well , um think it was 30 bucks for a 4 litre of matt black from a place called ovesco in newcastle , chemtechs just cheapo stuff and does a great job to ,

YEAH...........What he said.

Most of the sites have codes for colours of which you may already know what they are. If that makes sence.
I am after examples that I can look at. Like a colour wheel.
Tangerine, but I don't know of any factory models that came out in that colour.

um closest i can think of the top of my head is the ford blood orange and also of the new commodores its a metalic orange not sure of the name but it is nice ,also mazda have a nice dark orange aswell of the mazda 2 i beleive?, just go to say one paint place then just go from there because most other brands will have same colours or they can make them up, i like making my own colours up tho especially when i could get away with it at tafe and "borowing" it lol
