Anyone had any probs with the bonnet flexing at 80km/h and above in the centre and if so what fixed it?

more info about the vehicle would be helpful, but my first guess would be cracks in the chassis around the steering box and panhard mount/reinforcement, causing the whole fromt of the truck to move indenpendently of the rest. give it a good clean around the steering box and panhard reinforcement and see if there are any cracks there. other symptoms include unexplainable clicking type noises at particular speeds, and vague steering.

if you have a body lift, some of the bolts may be loose.

Sounds like the reo under the bonnet is cracked. Or has come away from the skin. You may need to remove the sound deadener sheet to see this.
