Putting rear leaves on the front.

I am thinking about putting my rear leaves on my hilux on to the front and a set of ford explorer leaves on the back. What is involved in doing this? Cutting the hangers and rewelding them to fit the longer springs.

Buy an explorer and put the front hilux leaves on the back of it to fix its low soft ride up
