1991 Pajero 2.5L diesel have not been able to track down the problem.
I have read that there may be a temp. sensor that is not telling the computer that the engine is up to temp. and not allowing it to shift into o/d.
I know there are three temp. sensors, one for the fan on the innercooler, second one with two wires is for the gauge on the dash, the third is the on I think must tell the o/d to kick in. Is there a way to bypass these and engage the o/d? I am running out of things to check and the limited manuals I can get are very vague at best.
